Financial Aid
USC administers one of the largest financial aid programs in the United States, with a long tradition of meeting the USC-determined financial need of applicants who meet all eligibility requirements and deadlines. More than two-thirds of USC undergraduates receive some form of financial aid, including merit scholarships, need-based grants, Federal Work-Study and loans.
We encourage all students and families interested in financial aid to apply. Even if you do not qualify for financial aid, other financing options can assist with the family contribution. The information below will help you get started.

The following are the estimated two-semester costs for a full-time USC undergraduate (taking 12-18 units each semester) living in university housing:

Keep in mind that your actual costs may differ. Additionally, estimated budgets for students in some majors may be higher because of special laboratory or studio supply fees, or other additional costs incurred by all students in the program. Tuition is charged at the same rate for both in-state and out-of-state residents.

Types of Aid Available
We work with families to meet a student’s full USC-determined financial need, subject to a review of the student’s financial aid application and the family’s finances, as well as to available funds from federal, state and university sources.
