Accessibility for Students With Disabilities

Accessibility: Section 504 of the Rehabilitation Act provides that: “No otherwise qualified individual with a disability in the United States . . . shall, solely by reason of his or her disability, be excluded from the participation in, be denied the benefits of, or be subjected to discrimination under any program or activity receiving federal financial assistance . . .”

In compliance with Section 504, the university provides reasonable accommodations for students with disabilities. The university’s Section 504 Coordinator is the Office of Equity and Diversity.
