Please be aware that some programs in the Schools of Cinematic Arts and Dramatic Arts, and all programs in the Thornton School of Music, require all applicants to apply by December 1. See Additional Major Requirements for information about your intended program.
Scholarship Status and Final Admission Decisions
All transfer applicants who submit a complete application by the February deadline will receive a request for spring grades or an admission decision by June 1.
USC does not have an Early Decision or Early Action program. Only notification from the Office of Admission constitutes an offer of admission.
Interested in Financial Aid?
If so, you should apply for financial aid soon after you apply for admission. USC is need-blind in its admission process — a student’s financial need is not a factor in the admission decision.
*It is your responsibility to ensure that all required application materials are sent to USC by the posted deadlines. Applications submitted after the deadlines listed above are not guaranteed a priority review. In no case will application fees be refunded.
