Third-Party Verification Requests

The University of Southern California has contracted with the National Student Clearinghouse to provide 24/7 degree-checking services for alumni, students and employers around the world.

For access to and general information about degree and enrollment verification, please visit our provider National Student Clearinghouse. You must register your company information with the National Student Clearinghouse to use this service.

Note: As of January 31, 2005, verbal verification of academic information will no longer be offered.

Third-party requests for verifications containing grade point average information (GPA) must be accompanied by a written authorization from the record owner specifying the third party as his or her agent. This is required to maintain compliance with the Family Educational Rights and Privacy Act (FERPA). Requests must be emailed to GTV@USC.EDU.

Methods of payment: Personal or company check (made payable to “University of Southern California”), U.S. money order, and the following credit cards: VISA, MasterCard, and Discover. Cash is not accepted.
