How Aid Works

Your financial aid eligibility is a based on the cost of attendance for your program of study.

We include amounts for tuition and mandatory fees, based on your enrollment plans, as well as average amounts for standard educational expenses such as housing, meals, books, supplies and other living expenses.

Keep in mind that your actual costs may differ. Additionally, estimated budgets for students in some programs may be higher or lower due to longer or shorter enrollment periods, special laboratory or studio supply fees, or other additional costs incurred by all students in the program. We strongly recommend that graduate students visit department websites for financial assistance (such as scholarships, fellowships, grants, loans and costs) specific to their program. Tuition is charged at the same rate for both in-state and out-of-state residents.
