Dates & Deadlines

Students are encouraged to meet all published deadlines to ensure they receive their funds by the tuition payment deadline each semester.

Note: These dates and deadlines are for new students applying for the 2024-2025 academic year. If you still need to apply for 2023-2024 financial aid, please do so as soon as possible using the 2023-2024 CSS Profile and FAFSA.

First-Year Students

January 12, 2024 – Early Action applicant deadline

February 7, 2024 – Regular Decision applicant deadline

Submit the CSS Profile application.

Submit the FAFSA application to federal processor.

If you miss the deadline, apply as soon as possible after this date.

You may submit the FAFSA and Profile beginning in December 2023. Use the FAFSA Data Retrieval Tool for the most efficient processing.

Please note that the USC Financial Aid Office does not begin to process this information until January. Therefore, your submission may not be reflected in the Required Information and Forms Page until early January.

March 4, 2024

California residents should also apply for Cal Grants by this date.

Transfer Students

March 4, 2024

Submit the CSS Profile application.
