Undergraduate Prospective Students

Our commitment to affordability

You may know that USC comprises one of the most diverse and high-achieving undergraduate populations in the United States. Our students are leaders and innovators, scholars and athletes, artists and entrepreneurs, representing all 50 states and more than 130 countries around the world. What you may not know is that the majority of these students — approximately two-thirds — receive some form of financial aid.

Two-thirds of our students recieve some form of financial aid.

And they were once sitting where you are now, wondering how to plan for the future. Rising costs, and the increasing amount of time it can take to complete a degree, can look like barriers to obtaining a college education.

But the reality is that a top-tier education may be more affordable and more attainable than you think. Today, whether our students are receiving full-tuition merit scholarships or paying for part of their college expenses with federal student loans, they’re taking advantage of the robust resources USC has to offer — and moving that much closer to realizing their goals and aspirations.

USC administers one of the largest financial aid programs in the United States and works with families to meet 100 percent of the USC-determined financial need for students who meet all deadlines and eligibility requirements.

USC is need-blind in its admission process. Ability to pay, or a student's interest in financial aid, has no bearing on admission decisions.

The majority of our students not only complete their degree objectives within four years, but they also successfully complete double majors or major-minor combinations, intern at leading businesses and nonprofit organizations, study abroad and pursue service learning opportunities.
