Tips to Make USC More Affordable:
I have utilized my work-study funds to supplement my personal spending. In addition, I have reliable roommates who have helped me find [inexpensive] outside housing to lower the overall cost of attendance. I take advantage of the LA Metro system and use my skateboard to get around rather than invest in renting/leasing/buying a car for use. I apply frequently for grants/internships/essay scholarships to get more spending money on groceries and such. I cook rather than use a meal plan and reuse materials in my apartment from previous years to lower costs. I rent used books and download PDFs, and reuse school supplies so as not to incur the same costs semester by semester.
Because of financial aid at USC, I have been able to:
“Take advantage of the Trojan Family network and the various opportunities offered to me as a student here at this fantastic institution.”
